FIRST TECH CHALLENGE · TEAM 28874

We build robots.
Then we make the learning useful.

ThermoDynamics is a youth led competitive robotics team under Apex Maker Club in Apex, North Carolina. We design, program, test, compete, teach, and keep a record of what works.

WHAT HAPPENS HERE

One FTC team.
A full build cycle.

Students work across mechanical design, CAD, programming, sensors, autonomous, strategy, documentation, outreach, and team operations. The goal is not just a robot that moves. It is a team that can explain, improve, and share its work.

01

Build

Mechanisms designed to be tested, repaired, and improved.

02

Program

Control systems and autonomous work built around repeatable behavior.

03

Share

Tutorials and outreach that make robotics easier to enter.

CURRENT ROBOT

Our next robot
is taking shape.

We have just started the BIOBUZZ build. The competition robot has not been named yet; we are working through the season challenge, early mechanisms, and the tests that will guide the first design decisions.
